Do you know #IKEAhack?
We are now introducing #LOLAhack
Perhaps you have already heard about hacks, but what is it exactly?
In all it´s simplicity… You are hacking an object when you modify,
reinterpret or transform an already existing design, lifestyle or expression.
Hacking can be made to all kinds of brands and things, such as furnitures, cars, clothing, food, and off course shoes.
A hack can give a new meaning to a well-known product and make you enjoy it all over again.
Left #LOLAhack is from @Britta Hoeg who have a Lola Ramona Betty wedge tattooed on her arm.
Right #LOLAhack is from @astrid Lave who made a Christmas decoration out of some old Stilettos.
One of the most popular hacks are #IKEAhacks.
Millions of people around the world are hacking IKEA products every day. Adding things to an already existing product,
or alter the IKEA product to be used in another way.
We ourselves are hacking IKEA a lot. Adding Lola stripes to the popular LACK shelves and the PAX wardrobe.
Right now we are hacking IKEA´s most recent campaign “Omedelbar”
Why?
Because this campaign is SO Lola Ramona! It almost looks like they have used our shop as setting, who could resist such an opportunity? We LOVE this campaign, the stripes, the hats, the porcelain boots, the kiss shaped pillows the decoration hands, the wall paper and off course the striped universe they have chosen to present it all through… WELL DONE IKEA!
We will be the first to go shopping!!!
We have dedicated this month to #IKEAhack vs #LOLAhack
IKEA “omedelbar" vs. #LOLAhack
And with this we would like to introduce #LOLAhack
We know a lot of you are using and interpret LOLA products and the LOLA universe in many different ways… we do too.
We love to see how you care for our ideas over and over again ♥
We encourage you to KEEP hacking!
When you are using a shoe as a phone holder, a handbag as a vase… striping, dotting or bowing up your space.
If you are getting a tattoo, baking a cake, customizing or reconstructing a product.
Every time you come up with new ideas or decorations.
PLEASE SHARE IT WITH US
Simply post it on Facebook, Instagram or Pinterest using #LOLAhack
We will be on the lookout ☺
